Bitter Battle Between Sun and Moon

Hello! My first Humanities class of the year is Stories. In this class, we learned about etiologies, adjectives, adverbs, similes, metaphors, sentence structure, and proper grammar. To prepare for this class, over the summer we read Their Eyes Were Watching God by Zora Neale Hurston. We also had our first FE where storyteller came to talk to us about descriptive writing and how we could better our AP's through storytelling. For our second FE, we visited the Field Museum and learned about the origin stories within other cultures at the museum. For our first AP, we were tasked with creating our very own etiology stories. We are doing this AP to show our understanding of etiologies and storytelling as well as proper grammar and sentence structure. I hope you enjoy my story as much as I do!

In conclusion, I believe this AP went really well. I normally do not like writing, but this creative writing task I really found to enjoy. I believe I was able to learn more about my writing ability and how creative I can be.
